Antenna-integrated time signal receiver from the PCSK-225 transmitter in Solec Kujawski, Poland
MSD-ANT PCSK225 is a receiver integrated with a ferrite antenna of the time frame transmitted by the Central Office of Measures (eCzas Radio project) by a long-wave transmitter in Solec Sujawski. The signal of the First Program of Polish Radio, with a power of about 1.5 MW, is transmitted at a frequency of 225 kHz. The signal can be received throughout Poland and some neighboring countries. The Central Office of Measures provides the time standard. It ensures synchronization accuracy at the level of 10 ms. The receiver is equipped with replaceable OCP-RCP format cards. A typical UTP/SFTP CAT 5+ twisted pair is used for the connection. The maximum distance is 700 m with an RS485 interface.
The receiver can be used, among others, as a time source for controllers, e.g., street lighting with redundancy in the event of GPS/GNSS signal interference. The receiver is compatible with the standard used in NTS-Antenna1 by Elproma Elektronika1 – it can be used as a backup time signal source in NTS-3000/4000/5000 series network servers. In the MSD-200 system, it works with the MSD-219 interface card.
