MSD-ANT DCF-77.5

Integrated with the antenna, receiver of the time signal from the DCF-77.5 transmitter in Mainflingen, Germany

MSD-ANT PCSK225

MSD-ANT DCF77 is a receiver integrated with a ferrite antenna, a time frame transmitted by a 50kW transmitter on a frequency of 77.5kHz located in Mainflingen near Frankfurt am Main in Germany. The signal can be received in many parts of Western and Central Europe. The time standard is provided by a cesium atomic clock from PTB in Braunschweig. The receiver is equipped with replaceable OCP-RCP format cards. A typical UTP/SFTP CAT 5+ twisted pair is used for the connection. The maximum distance is 700m with an RS485 interface.

The receiver can be used, among others, as a time source for controllers, e.g., for street lighting with redundancy in case of GPS/GNSS signal interference. The receiver is compatible with the standard used in NTS-Antenna1 by Elproma Elektronika1 – it can be used as a backup time signal source in NTS-3000/4000/5000 series network servers. In the MSD-200 system, it works with the MSD-219 interface card. It has a built-in processor that converts the DCF frame to the NMEA frame.
